#MonthlyGold LINKUP – JUNE

MonthlyGold

It’s June and the summer has officially started, yay! Time for the #MonthlyGold linkup 🙂

My goals for May were quite achievable because I knew I would have a busy month. Still, I struggled. Thinking back to May, I worked a lot. In my free time I had a lot of work stuff on my mind. Physically I mostly felt drained and needed a lot of sleep. Luckily May was a beautiful month and I really enjoyed the weather and spending time outside when I had the energy.

Let’s see how I did with my goals for May.

KEEP GOING WITH SETTING GOALS
Did not write anything down. Should have done that immediately. It was just putting out fires, one after another.

GET STARTED WITH OPEN UNIVERSITY
Check! Didn’t do too much progress, but it’s a start!

VISIT MY PARENTS’ SUMMER HOUSE
Visited, not once but twice, and loved it.

FINISH TWO BOOKS
Nope. Reading three at the same time though.

EXERCISE IN THE MORNING
Blahhh, I wanted to. Mostly couldn’t get up on weekdays, but succeeded on my days off. So 50/50?!

So, what’s up for June? It will definitely be another busy month.

  1. MAKE THE MOST OF MY TIME IN BERLIN.
It’s the most beautiful time of the year and a completely new city. So excited!
  2. PLAN MY MEALS AND EAT MORE HEALTHY.
Usually I eat pretty healthy, but in May I consumed waaaay too much sugar and unhealthy stuff. Will try and bring back healthy snacks and remember to eat.
  3. TAKE BREAKS.
I rarely take breaks during my work day, so I feel absolutely drained afterwards. Not good!
  4. VISIT THE HELSINKI ARCHIPELAGO.
The little islands right outside of Helsinki are an essential part of the Finnish summer, so I want to try and visit as many as I can. We already took a head start to this, more on that soon!

What kind of plans do you have for June?
