#MonthlyGold LINKUP: WHAT ARE MY GOALS FOR APRIL?

Outfit point of view

Autumn is hosting #MonthlyGold linkup in her blog, and I’m so happy to take part with the goals for my first whole month of blogging!

The linkup is about reviewing the previous month’s goals and how they were achieved. Since I’m starting out with this, I’ll list my goals for April and at the end of the month we’ll see what happened!

I am not as goal-oriented as I’d like to be – my goals are usually too vague and I don’t really have a process of setting them, following up and rewarding myself on achieving them. To be honest though, the rewarding myself part I’m really good at.

So in a way, my biggest goal is to be better at setting goals. So let’s do this!

  1. SET THREE GOALS FOR EACH WEEK.
I feel like instead of planning my days out beforehand and sticking to the plan, I’ve been just putting out fires for the past months. I just finished The Productivity Project by Chris Bailey and it gave me so many new ideas to be more organized and productive.
  2. EXERCISE THREE TIMES A WEEK.
This is crucial in order to stay in the right mindset. I’ve had difficulty trying to motivate myself to go to the gym, and instead I’ve been going on long walks and yoga. The main thing is to keep moving though!
  3. GO THROUGH MY CLOSET AND PACK AWAY WINTER CLOTHES & SHOES.
Donate the stuff I don’t wear. For some reason I really dislike to do organizing like this, so this will be a challenge.
  4. TRY OUT FOUR NEW RECIPES.
I’m so bad at trying anything new, so I’ve been in a salad and pasta rut for two months. This has got to end or I’ll end up hating some of my favorite ingredients!
  5. LEARN MORE ABOUT PINTEREST.
Is it confusing or is it just me?

    1. Hi Patricia,
thanks so much for saying hi! I have to head over to your blog right away, I’d love to visit Philippines! The Productivity Project is a book I recently read, I will add a link to the post. ๐Ÿ™‚
      Have a great week!

  1. I love your goals, Selja. And no, it’s not just youโ€ฆ Pinterest can be pretty confusing when it comes to blogging.
I am trying to set weekly (and sometimes daily) goals along with monthly goals to make sure I am making progress towards my goals, but it’s still a work in progress and certainly my own fires to put out as well! I am curious about what the Productivity Project is?
And good work on staying active last month even though it wasn’t at the gym like you hoped. Walking and yoga are still awesome! I was active the first half of the month and then kinda fell off the wagon on that goal!

    (found you on #MonthlyGold linkup)

    1. Hi Elena,
thank you so much for your encouragement! The Productivity Project is a book I recently read, I added a link to the book in the post. I definitely feel like fitness goals seems to be really difficult to keep up, good to hear I’m not the only one struggling!
Good luck with your April goals ๐Ÿ™‚
